Power of language

Lets say u have hard feelings toward someone who has misused you and you want to get even. Instead of seeking vengeance, express your feelings to GOD, confess your angry and bitter feelings as sin, and speak faith into the situation. ''I have the love of GOD in my heart and I forgive this person by GOD's power, I will forget the way they have wronged me and not try to get even.'' When you can send that word, GOD will work in the situation. As you continue to confess the love of CHRIST for that person, you will begin to feel love. Your attitude will change and open the way for GOD to change the other person's attitude as well. As followers of JESUS we are supposed to imitate HIM, and to do that we must talk as HE talked and act as HE acted. Its vital our actions must match our words. This means not only hearing or speaking the word, but also acting on the Word - putting it into practice in our daily lives. If our tongue is harnessed with the power of GOD's word, our deeds have to follow! Faith in action is faith that GOD blesses. Today's reading: James 1 v 22 - 25
