2 Cor. 4:7
When GOD calls you for a task, whether it be parenting, manger/ess or even a sportsman. HE proves that HE has confidence in you - even though you doubt your own ability.
GOD knows the potential of your character and personality, even while you are trying to convince HIM that the task HE has called you to do is far above your capabilities.
On the other hand you can weigh up the task, against GOD's greatness and be assured by HIS divine promise, that because HE has called you, HE will also equip you.
The most important element in GOD's service is not intellectual brilliance or experience - but obedience & faithfulness which compels you to become an instrument in HIS hands.
The assurance GOD will work through you and that HE will bind you more securely to HIM, is to be found in the knowledge that the power to fulfill your calling does not belong to you, but to GOD.
