When we pray

''one of them...came back, praising GOD in a loud voice''
Luke 17:15

Most of our prayers consist of requests, we pray for healing, guidance, deliverance from distress and for GOD to provide for our needs.

There is nothing wrong with this, as Our LORD himself invited us to come to HIM with our needs..

However, how do we repond once GOD answers our prayers? Or, in HIS infinate wisdom does not give us what we asked for?

Paul, says we should present our requests with thanksgiving, so that we may experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Phil. 4:6). This is the key to true prayer and a life of fulfilment.

When you lay your requests before the LORD, leave it to HIM and HIS will. Be grateful that HE hears and understands you.

Know that in HIS own perfect time and own unique way, HE will answer in a way that is best for you.

Gratefully accept everything that GOD bestows on you from HIS house of treasures and be content with HIS will.
