During your lifetime, you will lead the way for many others to follow you. It may be those you have worked with; your children; or your friends; or family; for at some point in your life, you will either be chosen - or you will have to lead the way.
In all your efforts, be a leading light to all those that you are ahead of. Make sure that the imprints that your footsteps are able to leave behind, will be deep enough and bold enough for everyone to follow.
