Romans 8 v 26
Often whe one needs the healing power of prayer most, it is when we are unable to pray!
It is difficult to pray trustingly when u are overwhelmed with great sadness.
However, a sincere prayer is rooted in search of GOD's will, an acknowledgement of your own shortcommings, your distress and your willingness to change and to be enriched by GOD's love.
GOD doesn't answer prayers because they are perfect, but because HE reaches out to people in distress, with love and compassion.
It is not important how we pray, but that we humbly direct our hearts, minds & emotions to GOD.
In this way we confess, that GOD the Great Shepherd is with us.
Even in the depths of the darkness,
JESUS says: ''it will be given unto you''
Luke 11 v 9
Why, not in your confusion and pain, just whisper a prayer, asking for comfort, strength, wisdom or peace? you will immediately experience the comforting touch of the Master.
This will see you through the dark valley ahead - even if u stumble through it. HIS Almighty hand will not let go of you!
Remember you are NOT praying alone. The Holy Spirit intercedes for you with the insight you may lack!
All GOD requires from you, is to focus your heart on HIM unconditionally.
''HE will respond to the prayer of the destitute: HE will NOT despise their plea.''
