A Prayer

GOD of endless mercy, we thank YOU that YOUR unfathomable love covers our entire lives:

Thank YOU, that with the years, YOU equip us and show us mercy!

In wisdom and maturity, born of experience:

In quietness and peace that grow out of faith:

We thank YOU for having made all life beautiful, daybreak and the rising of the sun and fullness and magnificence of the noonday, the beauty of the setting sun, and the quiet of twilight and the night:

Thank YOU GOD, the FATHER, that you do NOT abandon us in our last shift:

Thank YOU, that YOU still guard over us, with love and grace, that YOUR eternal arms are still supporting us!

We thank YOU for all of this in the Name of JESUS.
