Safe in GOD's keeping

''Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed: save me and I will be saved''

Jer. 17 v 14

- Jeremiah's prayer gives us a glimpse of the inner life of a man of GOD: HE bears his soul before GOD, we can see his doubt, his struggle, his hope, his fear and his faith!

- While everything around him was swirling in a storm of opposition, intrigue and collapse, Jeremiah retained an inner sanctum of DEEP trust!

- In the midst of his chaos, he could still praise GOD!

- In his heart there remained a song of thanksgiving and a conviction of FAITH! - He knew he could find healing and deliverance - with GOD! - he would always be safe in GOD's hands!

- We need that same kind of anchor to know for certain that we are safe from all dangers threatning us.

- Do what Jeremiah did, put your trust in GOD in HIS keeping you are safe and protected!

''Almighty GOD, I come to rest in the shadow of YOUR wings. There my problems come to an end and my heartbeat slows down. My hope and trust are in YOU, my SAVIOUR and my GOD!''

Amen
