1 Cor. 13 v 13
The real test of your faith is the amount of love towards your fellow men, especially those whose viewpoints differ radically from yours.
Such a faith can only have its roots in a way of life that stays so close to CHRIST that his love starts flowing through you to others.
Your love for CHRIST includes all people who love HIM, even if you dont agree with them on an intellectual level.
Love is predominant in your spiritual life. This love does not always mean peacefulness.
There are times when it challenges and reprimands: it makes you feel humble in order that you may be carried to great spiritual heights.
It empties you of yourself, of covetousness and pride, in order that you may be filled with the love of GOD.
That is why it increases your appreciation of your fellow-men. If you love GOD and HIS love finds expression in you, you will of necessity love your fellow-men as well.
